This division specialises in the recruitment of
staff for rural/provincial households and estates
outside London and rural estates abroad.
We have an
exceptional range of experienced staff available to
suit large multi-staffed estates as well as
excellent candidates familiar with working for
smaller family estates.
We can source and place all of the following roles
on a full/part-time, ad hoc or seasonal basis and
either for live-in or live-out positions.
Estate
Directors, Estate Managers,
Gardeners
and Grounds Staff
We can source all forms of estate/grounds staff
including: Estate Managers, Head Gardeners, Sole
Gardeners, Assistant and Under Gardeners, Estate
Workers, Gamekeepers, Handymen/Drivers/Maintenance,
Security and so on. Whilst many Estates provide
accommodation packages for their staff, we have an
increasing number of candidates seeking daily work
in their local area.
We register qualified and experienced staff that
have worked in private gardens, estates and/or have
a horticultural qualification. We are also very
happy to source staff with specific skills such as
organic gardening, historic garden restoration,
design and landscaping.
Couples
We have experienced and professional couples
registered with us who cover a multitude of skills
between them. The majority of couples will undertake
such jobs as maintenance gardening, household DIY,
driving and cleaning, cooking and childcare. Some
couples are more specialised and can provide
services such as cordon bleu cooking, horticultural
gardening, equestrian skills and so on.

one off fee of £100 per annum for membership is
charged, with 100% of this fee going directly to
The Gamekeepers Welfare Trust.

Estate Managers and Directors
We recognise that these types of roles demand a more
exacting search due to the level of importance,
seniority of the position within an estate and the
special skill-set required. In light of this, we are
pleased to offer clients a two tier approach to an
assignment on an executive search basis.
1. Contingency Search
This is the most straightforward form of
recruitment, whereby our consultant will work on the
understanding that the client has probably asked
more than one agency to search for the most suitable
candidate. In order to effectively source the right
person, we will advertise the vacancy on our website
and other selective websites and search our current
database. All replies to advertisements are
collated, a short list prepared and the candidates
interviewed. All reference checks and paperwork are
completed and the most suitable candidate/s will be
put forward for interview. Only once the right
candidate has been found, an offer made and
accepted, will the client receive an invoice from
Bellamy of Mayfair.
2. Retained Search
This method of recruitment
will be undertaken on the understanding that the
client will have decided to only work with a Bellamy
of Mayfair consultant and no other agencies. There
will be one point of contact during the assignment.
Once our consultant has taken a detailed job
specification, they will:

if appropriate, visit the client at their
home/office in order to gain an in-depth knowledge
of the working environment

agree terms of business and exclusivity
·
upon receipt of the retained fee, commence the
search for the most suitable candidate
If the client is based
overseas, an extra disbursement charge will be
levied, which will vary with location.

Consultancy
Clients using this type of service will be
owners of estates and multi-property portfolios both
in the UK and worldwide.
Bellamy of Mayfair Consultancy, is designed to
provide a comprehensive and professional service for
advice and support in managing and staffing an
estate and when recruitment needs are identified we
will use the executive search methodology.
The Consultancy service provides for an experienced
Consultant to visit you at your home/estate office
in order to discuss the issues of staffing,
management and so on. Designed to help clients who
employ a number of staff or for clients who feel
that they would prefer a more hands-on expert who
can give guidance on a one to one basis.
